Sloe progress

Well I have missed the season and have started to plan for the next one instead. This means having her out of the water till April next year and I have decided that it is this cost that is the most expensive. Currently I am renting a cradle for the whole year, so I decided to get an old one, refurbish it and remove that cost from my storage bills.

I have also decided that this is the year where I will make Sloe gin. I think it is a most appropriate tipple for the ships decanter and I will let you know how I get on as it will be the tipple that I will use when launching her in the New Year. Hopefully it will taste OK.
